Growing up in New England provided endless bodies of water for Kim Biermann to visit. Her spring breaks and other vacations always consisted of a beach. Kim knew her love of sun, salt, and sand would someday lead her to pursue her passion in what she considers a MUST have for any beach.

A SWIMSUIT!

From cheeky bottoms, flattering tops, and even one-pieces for all shapes and sizes, Salty K is a luxurious swimwear brand that makes you feel confident, comfortable, sexy, and secure all while knowing that the fabric that is against your skin is sustainably sourced and made from material and recycled bottles pulled directly from the ocean.

This fabric also has more longevity than any other “normal” fabric, which means you won’t be jeopardizing on quality. Kim made her fondest memories as a child at the beach and wants to ensure that her children, her grandchildren, and future generations have the same opportunity to make memories, it was important to her to be environmentally conscious. Even her tags are made from recycled material!

This is Kim’s way of giving back to the very place that has brought her and her family so much joy.

Kim owns A LOT of swimsuits and often felt that the top didn’t sit quite right, or that the bottom wasn’t a perfect fit, so she would have it altered and “fix” the problem. Kim took those alterations she made throughout her lifetime and applied them to her own designs and that is how Salty K began.

P.S Kim had several names for this brand but didn’t LOVE any of them. One day in her kitchen she asked her daughter Brielle what she would call the brand and she immediately said, “Salty K, because you are always so ‘salty’ Mom!”

When Brielle didn’t get her way, or an answer she wanted from her mom she would always refer to her as being “Salty”. Kim loved the name as did the rest of her family and they are so excited to share all of this with you.

With major love, salty hair, and sandy toes,
